Delete your Skald account

Skald is made by Valkyrja Labs. You can ask us to delete your account and the data linked to it at any time.

Delete it in the app

1. Open Skald and sign in.
2. Go to Profile, then Settings, then Delete account.
3. Type DELETE to confirm. Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out.

Can’t open the app? Ask by email

1. Email support@skaldapp.com from the email address on your Skald account.
2. Include your Skald name so we can find the right account.
3. We’ll confirm by reply, then delete the account within 30 days.

What we delete

Your sign-in account, your profile (Skald name, avatar and settings), your Coin balance and collection, your drafts and holds, and your notification tokens.

What we keep, and for how long

Lines you contributed to Scrolls that other Skalds also wrote stay in those stories, so the stories still make sense, but they are no longer linked to your name. Purchase records are kept for up to seven years where tax and accounting law require it. Copies in backups are overwritten within 35 days.

Unused Coins and an active Bard subscription can’t be refunded by deleting your account; cancel Bard in Google Play first.
